About

Yoga as a system.
Not a class

fourbodies is a practice app built around a simple idea: your body is not one thing. What you bring to the mat changes every day — and your practice should respond to that.

Physical

The body you can feel — muscles, joints, tension, ease. The most immediate layer of experience.

Mental

Clarity, focus, and the quality of attention. The mind that either follows the practice or resists it.

Emotional

Mood, tone, and what is being held. The emotional climate that shapes every session.

Energetic

Vitality, breath, and the flow of prana. How awake or depleted you feel beneath the surface.

Why it exists

Most yoga apps treat every session the same. They offer a library, a timer, and a streak. But yoga — at its root — is a somatic practice. It responds to where you are, not where you think you should be.

fourbodies tracks your state across four bodies and lets that state guide your practice. Not as a rigid prescription, but as a signal. A way of asking: what does the practice need to be today?

Daily State scores each body on a scale of 0 to 20. Scores decay when you don't practice. The compass shifts. And over time, you begin to notice patterns — which bodies are chronically low, which practices restore them, how your state moves across weeks and seasons.

This is not performance tracking. There is no leaderboard. fourbodies is built for people who already know yoga has something to offer — and who want a tool that takes that seriously.

Built by

fourbodies is an independent iOS app built in Porto, Portugal — designed, developed, and maintained by an independent developer with a long-standing practice and a background in software.

It is not backed by a wellness brand or a content platform. There are no instructors to follow, no community feed, no social layer. Just the practice, the state, and the tools to work with both.
